How I wish I had a device that could let me travel deep inside someone, see what’s going on, and fix everything up – all their fears, anxieties, and worries. With such a device, Boy! I’d be a high roller in 2017.
Anyway, I have a good feeling about this year. All things are looking good. Let’s aim for a year filled with blessings, joy, and prosperity.
2016, you were good. 2017, you gonna be great. 20xx, you gonna be the best!
“Before you speak, listen. Before you write, think. Before you spend, earn. Before you invest, investigate. Before you criticize, wait. Before you pray, forgive. Before you quit, try. Before you retire, save. Before you die, give.” ― William Arthur Ward
“Life is scary. Get used to it. There are no magical fixes. It’s all up to you. So get up off your keister, get out of here, and go start doin’ the work. Nothing in this world that’s worth having comes easy.” -Bob Kelso
On a lighter note, God never said we wouldn’t have troubles or that life wouldn’t be scary but He did promise He will be with us through it all. God is good…ALL the time!
For the married folks: “Don’t get mad if he forgets your anniversary or your birthday. If he is good to you the other 364 days of the year, that’s what counts.” -Patty O
For the Entrepreneurs and Business Owners: Communicate with your employees, Take chances, Be humble, Be yourself, Build trust, Make a difference, Persevere through, Be motivated by the competition, Do what can’t be done – Ratan Tata
Most of all, please love a little this year. Life is short and unpredictable. We don’t know when our time is up. Make sure you show the people you love and care about every inch of that love before you head to bed each day. They can’t see what’s in your heart until you express them through your words and actions. Appreciate those who love you and learn to give more, and take less. Love is the most powerful thing in this world and its purest form is seen through our recent celebrations of Christmas.
Remember, Love NEVER fails (1 corinthians 13). It has the power to change people, transform lives, and give hope to the hopeless. It’s hard to find true, pure, and selfless love in this world, so hold on to it once you find it. For many of you like myself, we had the privilege to have experienced such love from our parents first. So be grateful for all the “awesomest” (pretty sure there is no such word) people in your life.
